Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Quitaque will conduct a regular council meeting on Monday August 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Meeting will be held at 106 N 1st Street.

- Call to Order
- PUBLIC COMMENT: Comments from the public to members of the city council concerning items on the City Council Agenda. People wanting to address the council should sign up prior to the meeting commencing. A five-minute time will be adhered to for those addressing their comments.
- Discuss and consider the minutes of the Regular Meeting July 13, 2026.
- Discuss and consider library report.
- Discuss and consider ambulance report.
- Discuss and consider fire department report.
- Discuss and consider Culligan proposal for water treatment.
- Discuss and consider water purchase agreement to Grant Wheeler for an R.V. park.
- Discuss and consider Economic Development Corporation proposal to award Richard Castillo a $16,000 50% grant/50% loan with loan forgiveness based on having a full-time employee for one year.
- Discuss and consider setting a property tax rate for proposal.
- Discuss and consider setting dates for public hearing/called meeting and budget workshop.
- Discuss and consider repair or replacement of failed booster pump at the pump station.
- Discuss and consider the City Administrator’s report.
- Discuss and consider bills for the month.
- Adjournment.
